I’m Ashmit Avash, and I run The Pseudotheist. I write about politics, films, the things we are told to accept and whatever else has been occupying my brain lately. Sometimes that means being angry about censorship. Sometimes it means writing far too much about a movie that made me happy.

I care about being able to ask questions, make art and be your own person. I also think there should be room to get things wrong and change your mind. You do not have to agree with everything here. I would be a little confused if you did.

This is an independent publication. There is no outside organisation deciding what gets written here. For now, it is just me. Contributions are by invitation, and anyone writing here is free to have a different political or ideological viewpoint.
